Overview :
The Lighthouse Auto Brightness Controller (ABC) will automatically will automatically operate to control the level of LED screen brightness in any ambient light level. The unit is housed within a tough, weatherproof polycarbonate housing, which is designed to IP67 environmental standards

Every time when power on, the ABC will keep sending out the brightness data. While you would set the frequency of collecting brightness data according to actual working requirement .
Note: The voltage inside the ABC box can be lethal. Ensure power is disconnected before removing the cover
The PCB Assembly
LEAP Receiver Board
LEAP Receiver Board which equipped in the LEAP-ABC plays a major role in processing data and sending the data to LEAP processor. You would set the frequency parameter of collecting brightness data according to actual working requirement with PC Software, and the LEAP-ABC would send setting data to panels . After finishing that setting, power on, it starts to work.
LEAP Adaptor Board
LEAP adaptor board plays a major role in collecting environment brightness data and transmits data to the Receiver Board, its main working principle is that a sensor works to collect, process and transmit environmental brightness data to LEAP Receiver Board which equipped in LEAP-ABC.
System connection
LEAP-ABC unit can be connected anywhere in the output display chain. It does not effect the panel display allocation .Also, the cable can be connected to another Data IN or DTA OUT of LEAP-ABC unit.
A LEAP-ABC could be located at any position in loop connection. And all LEAP-S which are in loop-connection should be set a same ID .
Note:
It is possible to share the ABC value among multiple LEAP-S. The brightness of all LEAP-S can be synchronized automatically with minimum delay. The following conditions are required to activate .
1- Each LEAP-S to be linked is connected to the same Network (LAN).
2-The ABC function should be set On only for the LEAP-S which ABC is connected to .
3- the same ID (except 0) is assigned to the MODE switch of each LEAP-S which are to be linked
4- Only one LEAP-S can turn on ABC function within the same ID
5- There is no need to run the LEAP PRO software after ABC ON/OFF IS SET TO EACH LEAP-S.
6-If multiple screens are configured to LEAP-S, only screen # I to be linked
System testing
If problem occurs during installation, you should check the following settings and status LED. If the problem cannot be solved, please contact us for further advice .

Sensor operation test
To see if the sensor work, you can move the ABC around or obstruct the light sensor and see if it is working.
Note: you can read software interface brightness parameter and the Panel brightness change .
Data communication test
When data are being sent or received, the corresponding status LED (RED) will start to flash. If this is not the case, a communication problem has occurred. For this kind of problem, it s recommended that you need to check the system cable connection. If the problem persists, please contact us for further advice .
