NovaStar Taurus TB30 Multimedia Player

The Taurus TB30, a new-generation cloud network multimedia player (upgrade version of TB3), is launched by NovaStar for full-color LED displays and digital signage. Known for their strong performance and exceptional reliability, NovaStar players are ideal for continuous 24/7 operation 

Performance 

The Taurus TB30 ensures smooth and impactful visuals with its powerful combination of a 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM A55 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 650,000 pixel loading capacity. This enables flawless playback of up to 1x 4K, 2x 1080p, 4x 720p, 4x 480p, or 6x 360p and 4K/FHD/HD/H.265 video decoding. 

Control 

The Taurus TB30 offers an All-round control plans that allows users to conveniently control the player from any location at any time using remote PCs and user terminals connected to the Internet, such as smartphones and tablets. Additionally, it supports scheduled commands, LAN and Internet-based scheduling, and synchronous playback across multiple screens via GPS (with optional 4G/5G module), RF (with optional RF module) or NTP time synchronization. 

Storage 

In addition to 32GB of internal storage for media and applications, the device supports expanded storage and content import via an USB 3.0 port, which also enable firmware upgrades. Cloud storage integration further enhances content management. 

Connection 

The Taurus TB30 seamlessly integrates into various digital signage networks thanks to its comprehensive connectivity options. For LAN and internet connectivity, it offers flexible configurations including RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi (AP, STA, and AP+STA modes), and optional 4G/5G cellular connectivity for expanded remote deployment capabilities. 

Operation 

NovaStar multimedia players are ideal for users who prefer an Android-based platform for their signage needs. Supporting a wide range of management software, including ViPlex Express, NovaCloud, VNNOX, ViPlex Handy, and NovaLCT, the NovaStar platform ensures a smooth user experience across various applications. 

Ensuring reliable operation in diverse environments, the TB30 is certified to UL, IC, CE, EAC RoHS, FCC, EAC DoC, CB, UKCA, FAC, and NBTC standards and performs flawlessly in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C. It operates with a 100-240VAC input and consumes a maximum of 18W. 

Management and Publishing 

The Taurus TB30 simplifies display management with both local and cloud-based options for program editing and publishing, all powered by ViPlex Express software. 

Sensing 

The TB30's sensor ports continuously monitor the environmental temperature, humidity, and brightness. This real-time monitoring enables dynamic display modifications, resulting in more effective presentation experiences and increased energy economy. 

I/O Ports 

The TB30 features two Gigabit Ethernet ports (primary/backup pairs) for reliable, high-performance transmission, it also includes multiple USB Type-A and Type-B ports, a 3.5mm stereo audio interface, and two optional 4G and Wi-Fi antenna connectors for easy integration into various signage setups
