NovaStar Taurus TB50 Multimedia Player

The Taurus TB50 is a new-generation of cloud network multimedia player launched by NovaStar for full-color LED displays and digital signage environments. NovaStar players offer strong performance and great reliability, making them an ideal solution for continuous 24/7 digital signage operation.  

Performance 

The Taurus TB50's significant 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM A55 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and maximum loading capacity of 1,300,000 pixels allow it to present the details impactful. Smooth 4K/FHD/HD/H.265 video decoding and flawless playback of up to 1x 4K, 2x 1080p, 4x 720p, 4x 480p, or 6x 360p are made possible by this powerful combination. 

Control 

The Taurus TB50 provides an All-round control plans that allows users to conveniently control the player from any location at any time using remote PCs and user terminals connected to the Internet, such as smartphones and tablets. Additionally, it supports scheduled commands, LAN and Internet-based scheduling, and asynchronous and synchronous playback across multiple screens via GPS time (with optional 4G/5G module), RF time (with optional RF module) or NTP time synchronization. 

Storage 

The Taurus TB50 offers 32GB of storage for videos, photos, and applications. For greater capacity, it offers expandable storage via USB 3.0, which can also be used for firmware upgrades and content import. Cloud storage integration adds further flexibility for content management 

Connection 

The Taurus TB50 offers seamless integration into diverse digital signage networks with its extensive connectivity options, including RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi (AP, STA, and AP+STA modes), and optional 4G/5G cellular connectivity for enhanced remote deployment. 

Operation 

For those who would rather use an Android-based platform for their signage requirements, NovaStar multimedia players are ideal. The NovaStar platform ensures a smooth user experience in a variety of cases by supporting a wide range of software applications designed for certain management needs, such as ViPlex Express, NovaCloud, VNNOX, ViPlex Handy, and NovaLCT. 

The TB50 is certified to UL, FCC, CE, EAC RoHS, IC, EAC DoC, CB, UKCA, CQC, and NBTC standards, ensuring flawless, continuous operation and compliance with regional regulations. It also operates reliably in extreme temperatures from -20°C to +60°C with a 100-240VAC input and a maximum power consumption of 18W. 

Management and Publishing 

The Taurus TB50 offers both synchronous (with 1920x1200@60Hz HDMI output) and asynchronous modes, along with local and cloud-based display management for program editing and publishing via ViPlex Express software.  

Sensing 

Continuous monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity, and brightness via the TB50's sensor ports allows for dynamic display adjustments, resulting in both optimized presentations and improved energy efficiency. 

I/O Ports 

The TB50 features two Gigabit Ethernet ports (one of which can be manually configured as a backup), providing reliable, high-performance transmission, it also contains an HDMI 1.3 output for HDMI loop, HDMI 1.3 input (synchronized mode), 3.5mm stereo audio interface, multiple USB ports (Type A and Type B), and two Wi-Fi and 4G (optional) antenna connectors ensuring easy integration into various signage setups.

The TB50 combines the functions of an LED controller and a media player, offering advanced features for digital signage and LED display control.
