The Taurus TB60 is a new-generation of cloud network multimedia player (upgrade version of TB8) launched by NovaStar for full-color LED displays and digital signage environments. NovaStar players offer strong performance and great reliability, making them an ideal solution for continuous 24/7 digital signage operation.
Performance
The Taurus TB60 delivers smooth and impactful content display thanks to its powerful 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM A55 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a maximum loading capacity of 2,300,000 pixels. This powerful combination facilitates smooth 4K/FHD/HD/H.265 video decoding and Flawless playback of up to 1x 4K, 2x 1080p, 4x 720p, 4x 480p, or 6x 360p videos and also 1920x1200@60Hz HDMI playback.
Control
The Taurus TB60 provides an All-round control plans to manage the player conveniently via remote computers, and user terminal Internet-connected devices, including smartphones, and tablets from anywhere, anytime. Additionally, it supports scheduled commands, LAN and Internet-based scheduling, and asynchronous and synchronous playback across multiple screens via GPS time (with optional 4G/5G module), RF time (with optional RF module) or NTP time synchronization.
Storage
Its 32GB of storage is sufficient for videos, photos and applications but it also has an extendable USB 3.0 connection for further storage options. It can also be used for upgrading the firmware and import content for playback. Additionally, the option for cloud storage integration offers extra flexibility for content management.
Connection
The Taurus TB60 seamlessly integrates into various digital signage networks with its extensive connectivity options. It offers flexible networking configurations, including RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi AP, Wi-Fi STA, and both Wi-Fi AP+STA modes for expanded remote deployment capabilities. Additionally, optional 4G/5G cellular connectivity enhances the network's versatility for remote installations.
Operation
For those who would rather use an Android-based platform for their signage requirements, NovaStar multimedia players are ideal. The NovaStar platform ensures a smooth user experience in a variety of cases by supporting a wide range of software applications designed for certain management needs, such as ViPlex Express, NovaCloud, VNNOX, ViPlex Handy, and NovaLCT.
The TB60's CE, UL, EAC RoHS, FCC, IC, EAC DoC, CB, UKCA, CQC, and NBTC certifications ensuring flawless, continuous operation and compliance with regional regulations, and it additionally performs perfectly in extreme ambient temperatures among -20°C and +60°C whenever powered via a 100-240VAC input voltage consuming maximum power of 18W.
Management and Publishing
In addition to the ability of switching between synchronous and asynchronous modes, The Taurus TB60 offers both local and cloud-based display management for program editing and publishing via ViPlex Express software.
Sensing
The sensor ports on the TB60 continuously monitor ambient temperature, humidity, and brightness. This real-time monitoring allows dynamic display adjustments, resulting in optimized presenting experiences and enhanced energy efficiency.
I/O Ports
In addition to the four Gigabit Ethernet ports (can set two as backup manually) that provide high transmission reliability and stable performance, it contains an HDMI 1.3 output for HDMI loop, HDMI 1.3 input (synchronized mode), 3.5mm stereo audio interface, multiple USB ports (Type A and Type B), and two Wi-Fi and 4G (optional) antenna connectors ensuring easy integration into various signage setups.
