NovaStar Taurus TB10 Multimedia Player

The Taurus TB10 is a new-generation of cloud network multimedia player (upgrade version of TB1) launched by NovaStar for full-color LED displays and digital signage environments. NovaStar players are known for their durability and great performance, making them perfect for continuous 24/7 operation and assuring uninterrupted application delivery. 

Performance 

The Taurus TB10 features a powerful quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz and 1 GB of RAM, delivering a maximum loading capacity of 650,000 pixels, enabling smooth hardware decoding of 4K videos and flawless playback of up to 1x 4K, 2x 1080p, or 4x 720p content, ensuring clear and impactful visual displays.   

Control 

The Taurus TB10 provides an All-round control plans to manage the player conveniently via remote computers, and user terminal Internet-connected devices, including smartphones, and tablets from anywhere, anytime. Additionally, it supports scheduled commands, LAN and Internet-based scheduling, and synchronous playback across multiple screens via GPS (with optional 4G module), RF (with optional RF module) or NTP time synchronization. 

Storage 

The TB10 comes equipped with 16GB of internal storage, sufficient for storing videos, photos, and applications. For increased capacity, it offers expandable storage via a USB 3.0 port, accommodating a wide range of playback demands. Furthermore, cloud storage integration provides added flexibility for content management. 

Connection 

The TB10 supports flexible network deployments in remote locations with its comprehensive connectivity options. These include an RJ45 Ethernet port for wired connectivity and Wi-Fi AP and STA modes for wireless connectivity. Optional 4G cellular connectivity is available separately as an EG25 4G module, for further enhanced network redundancy and reliability. 

Operation 

CQC and SRRC certified, the TB10 operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C. It operates efficiently with a 100-240VAC to DC 5-12V adapter, consuming a maximum of 12W. 

Management and Publishing 

The Taurus TB10 offers flexible control and management through multiple platforms for wireless control from cellphones and tablets. It also provides both local (USB Type C and 100M Ethernet Port) and cloud-based display management for program editing and publishing. Based on the NovaStar cluster solution, managing and monitoring multiple screens are all supported in a centralized manner.  

I/O Ports 

In addition to a Gigabit LED out Ethernet port that provide high transmission and stable performance, it contains a 3.5mm stereo audio interface, multiple USB ports (Type-A and Type-B), and two Wi-Fi and 4G (optional) antenna connectors ensuring easy integration into various signage setups.

This multimedia player is perfectly suited for a variety of applications, including commercial LED displays and smart city applications that require stable and reliable performance, like fixed displays, lamp-post displays, retail store displays, advertisement players, mirror displays, and more.
