NovaStar Taurus TB1-4G (optional 4G) Multimedia Player

The Taurus TB1-4G (Optional 4G) is the second generation of cloud network multimedia player launched by NovaStar for full-color LED displays and digital signage environments. NovaStar's players are known for their resilience and high performance, making them a formidable, high-performing, reliable digital signage player for continuous 24/7 usage, especially where steady operation and reliability are critical. 

Performance 

The Taurus TB1-4G features a powerful quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM, delivering a maximum loading capacity of 650,000 pixels and supports smooth hardware decoding of 1080p videos ensuring clear and impactful content display. 

Control 

The Taurus TB1-4G provides an All-round control plans to manage the player conveniently via remote computers, and user terminal Internet-connected devices, including smartphones, and tablets from anywhere, anytime. Additionally, Robust security measures, including terminal authentication and playback verification, protect content and playback integrity. 

Storage 

While 32GB of its storage is adequate for videos, photos and applications, it offers expandable storage with an USB 2.0 port (up to 4GB) for more storage solutions and can play solutions imported from the USB drive, advancing wide playback demands. Additionally, the option for cloud storage integration offers extra flexibility for content management. 

Connection 

The TB1-4G is designed for flexible network deployment in remote locations. It features wired and wireless network configurations by offering an RJ45 Ethernet port, Wi-Fi AP and Wi-Fi STA mode, and Optional 4G cellular connectivity (The TB1-4G will be shipped without 4G module, if required, users can purchase an EG25 4G module separately). 

Operation 

NovaStar multimedia players provide a comprehensive Android-based platform, complemented by an impressive collection of management software. This includes ViPlex, NovaCloud (web-based), VNNOX (web-based), ViPlex Handy (Android/iOS), and NovaLCT, ensuring a seamless and adaptable user experience for diverse applications.  

The TB1-4G's CQC and SRRC certifications ensure flawless continuous operation. Additionally, it operates with optimum performance in demanding ambient conditions from -20°C through +60°C when powered via a 100-240VAC to DC 5-12V adapter with a maximum power consumption of 18W. 

Management and Publishing 

The Taurus TB1-4G offers flexible control and management through multiple platforms, including the ViPlex Handy app for wireless control from cellphones and tablets. It also provides both local and cloud-based display management for program editing and publishing via ViPlex software. Based on the NovaStar cluster solution, managing and monitoring multiple screens are all supported in a centralized manner.  

I/O Ports 

In addition to an LED out Ethernet port that provide high transmission reliability and stable performance, it contains a 3.5mm stereo audio interface, a USB 2.0 port, a SIM card slot (usable when 4G module installed), and two Wi-Fi and 4G (optional) antenna connectors ensuring easy integration into various signage setups.
